Custom lengths of rope light can be cut between "cut marks" noted by white marks on the LED rope spools. This can vary between the different spools so double check on each product before purchasing. Be sure to use a sharp knife to cut your rope light - not clippers or gardening shears (yes, that happens!) that will compress the plastic neon housing and may make the installation of power connectors extra difficult.
