Post-Holiday Blues?

Post-Holiday Blues? Continue to Brighten Up Your Nights with Lights

Just because the holiday season is over, doesn't mean the fun has to stop!

While the Christmas cheer may have faded, there's no reason to pack away your  lights just yet.

Here are a few ideas to keep the holiday spirit alive:

  • Walls of Lights: Light up your fenceline with curtaing lights.
  • Winter Wonderland: Transform your backyard into a winter wonderland by wrapping strings of white lights around trees.
  • Cozy Cottage: Make your home cozy by tucking lights above cabinets, under beds, and around bedframes.
  • Twinkling Pathways: Guide visitors to your door with a pathway of twinkling lights tailored to the colors of the next holiday! And speaking of other holidays...
  • Seasonal Themes: Incorporate lights into other seasonal themes, such as Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day.

Putting your lights away? Here are a few things to consider as you store lights away for the Spring and Summer.

Tips for Post-Holiday Light Care:

  • Inspect for Damage: Check for any broken or damaged lights before storing them.
  • Clean Gently: Wipe down lights with a soft microfiber cloth to remove dirt and debris.
  • Proper Storage: Store lights in a cool, dry place, preferably in their original packaging. Lights stored in the attic may be damaged by summer temps.

By following these tips, you can hopefully enjoy your Christmas lights for years to come.
