We love Wade's traditional outlined roofline for Christmas. Using triple-dipped glass bulbs, the color is rich and nostalgic. Standard glass bulbs have two coats of paint. As the name implies, triple-dipped have three resulting in rich colors at the tradeoff of being slightly dimmer. These bulbs are glass and incandescent so they will heat up under operation.
To achieve a look like this, start with these product groups. Choose your favorite colors and cords. This project uses a traditional 12-inch spacing with green wire.
Materials
- Triple-dipped glass bulbs
- C9 Cords - available in many socket spacings in green, white, black, and brown, cut to fit
- Christmas clips - commercial quality, choose clip based on your project
- Gilbert (Vampire) Plugs
This type of installation is also complemented well by installing lights around the yard or along the drive with stakes.
