How long do your battery operated mini lights last?
I've tested the longevity of these lights with fresh batteries and seen a life of over 6 hours per battery set. Be sure to use a fresh set of two C batteries before each event.
I fired up a set of these mini lights with some batteries of unknown charge from my handy catch all drawer and some of the mini lighs were dim. I changed the batteries out to a new set and they worked just fine.
You can't connect these sets together - they each have an individual power pack. (I get this question a couple of times a week.) We only carry a 15 mini light set because if you get many more lights than that it is too much of a drain on the batteries and the size of the required power pack if you increased the number of mini lights would be too hard to hide.
We'll be rolling out LED battery powered mini lights in the August/September timeframe.
How long are these light sets, what's the bulb spacing and what kind of batteries do they take?
These 15 mini light sets mesure approximately 5' long (plus 12 inch lead) These lights use 2 "C" batteries and last about 6 hours per battery set.
Battery Operated Lights are shipped within 2 business days. (This is the only exception to our seasonal shipping timeframes.)

Here is what one of our customers emailed to us:
You were very helpful to me back in February when I ordered these lights while down in Hilton Head. The wedding was yesterday and I thought you might like to see how the lights were used.
Just before dinner, the MC asked that someone at each table push the on switch. There were lots of "Oooohs" when the lights went on and they did stay lit until the reception was over. It was also announced that the person at each table whose birthday was closest to the wedding date got to take the centerpiece home. I just picked up the orphans at the reception site this morning and out of 18 there were only 5 left behind. Considering three of these were on the head table, I guess they were pretty popular souvenirs. Guess what? The lights were still working after having burned for almost 7 hours on Saturday.
